BTWC Fall Info[08.016.2010]

It's that time again! This fall BTWC will offer 21 Folkstyle Sessions with great clinicians like Pat Santoro, John Hughes, Teague Moore, Jason Kutz, Todd Beckerman, & others. Come train with BTWC starting September 8th at 6:00pm - 8:00pm (registration begins at 5:30pm). All wrestlers need a USA Wrestling Card.

BTAA & Benton Wrestling Golf Tournament[08.07.2010]

The 6th Annual Benton Wrestling/BTAA Golf Tournament will be held on September 12, 2010 at Mill Race Golf Course. 1:00pm Shot-Gun Start (Rain or Shine). All proceeds benefit Benton Wrestling and BTAA. If you are unable to attend or would rather sponsor a hole please see the form below.

BTWC Juniors Fall Short in Quest for All-American Status[07.23.2010]

Cody Wheeler (Towanda HS) and Spencer Myers (Selinsgorve HS) both fell one match short in Junior Freestyle Nationals of achieving All-American Status. Nate Brown (Lewisburg HS) finished 2-2 overall in Freestyle.

Congratulations to all on all the hard work! All the BTWC wrestlers represented BTWC in the highest fashion! Great Work gentlement!

BTWC Members Solomon & Pasone Captures All-American Statue in Cadet Freestyle[07.23.2010]

Congratulations to BTWC members Vito Pasone (Myers HS) and Ryan Solomon (Milton HS) who captured All-American Status at the Cadet Freestyle Nationals. Pasone finished in 8th place.

Solomon will have to default to 8th place due to a skin infection that was discovered yesterday morning during weigh-ins. Up until that point Solomon was 4-0. He was forced to injury default three matches to finish in 8th place.

BTWC member Ty Walters (Mifflinburg HS) finished 1-2 and Colt Cotten (Benton HS) did not compete.

Again, Congratulations to both Pasone and Solomon on their accomplishments!

BTWC Member Brown Captures All-American Statue in Cadet Greco-Roman[07.20.2010]

Congratulations to BTWC member Nate Brown (Lewisburg HS) who placed 5th to capture All-American Honors during the past few days in Fargo, ND. Brown competed at 171lbs in the Junior Greco-Roman division.

Cody Wheeler (Towanda HS) and Spencer Myers (Selinsgorve HS) both finished 4-2 (1 win shy of being an All-American).

All three wrestlers will compete again in the Freestyle Tournament starting on Thursday July 22 at 9:30 (MST)

BTWC Member Solomon Captures All-American Statue in Cadet Greco-Roman

Congratulations to BTWC member Ryan Solomon (Milton HS) who placed 5th to capture All-American Honors during the past few days in Fargo, ND. Solomon competed at 215lbs in the Cadet Greco-Roman division.

Colt Cotten (Benton HS) finished 3-2, Vito Pasone (Myers HS) finished 2-2, & Ty Walters (Mifflinburg HS) finsihed 2-2.

All four wrestlers will compete again in the Freestyle Tournament starting on Wednesday July 21 at 9:30 (MST).

BTWC Members are competing at theCadet/Junior Freestyle and Greco-Roman Nationals.
